For Windows XP
We recommend you pickup or request our setup CD,
but, if that is not available, print off and follow the instructions
below. Be sure to look up your local access number before starting.
To create and configure a connection in Windows XP:
1. Click on your “Start” menu and then click “Control Panel”. If your PC is in Classic mode, click “Start”, go to “Settings” and then click on “Control Panel”.
2. Double-click “Network and Internet Connections”.
3. Click on “Setup or Change Your Internet Connection”.
4. Click on the “Setup” button and then “Next >”.
5. Select “Connect to the Internet” and then click “Next >”

6. Select “Set Up my connection manually” and click “Next >”

7. Select “Connect using a dial-up modem” and click “Next >”

8. Type in “InterKan.Net” for the name of the ISP
Name and click “Next >”.

9. Type in the local phone number (Manhattan, KS is 558-8621)
and click Next >”.

10. Enter your username and password and click “Next >”.

After the final step, the computer is set to dial up. If you do not wish to dial up at this time, click Cancel. Otherwise, enter your username@interkan.net and password and click the Dial button.
